30Export And Almarai Partner To Elevate Saudi National Products On Global Stage

Licensed export house 30Export and Almarai Company have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) valued at SAR60 million. This agreement aims to boost the purchasing power of high-quality national products outside Saudi Arabia. The MoU was signed by 30Export general manager Ali Al-Malki and Almarai chief executive Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Bader, with Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef and Saudi Export Authority (Saudi Exports) chief Eng. Abdulrahman bin Suleiman Al Thukair in attendance.

Saudi Exports is dedicated to empowering local factories that wish to expand their operations and increase their export opportunities. The authority connects these factories with licensed export house companies to benefit from their services, enhancing the access of their products to global markets. 30Export, one of these licensed export houses, undertakes the export process.

Boost for Saudi Products Globally

Thamer Al-Mishrafi, a spokesman for Saudi Exports, praised the agreement for its role in empowering the brand of Saudi non-oil exports in global markets. He highlighted that Saudi Exports is committed to providing qualitative services and programs for exporters, including the export houses service launched last year during the second annual Made in Saudi exhibition.

Licensed export houses are companies with export experience that act as commercial intermediaries approved by Saudi Exports after meeting specific licensing requirements. These companies offer various services along the value chain of exports until the local product reaches end importers. Their goal is to help clients from local factories reach global markets efficiently, facilitating export movement and enhancing access to international markets.

Saudi Exports is keen on exploring available support methods to enhance national products' access to global markets. This effort contributes to diversifying national income sources and aims to raise the proportion of Saudi non-oil exports to at least 50% of total non-oil gross domestic product (GDP) by 2030.

The MoU between 30Export and Almarai represents a significant step towards achieving these goals. By leveraging the expertise of licensed export houses, local factories can better navigate international markets, ensuring that high-quality national products reach a broader audience outside Saudi Arabia.

This collaboration underscores the importance of strategic partnerships in boosting economic growth and expanding market reach for Saudi products globally. With continued support from entities like Saudi Exports, local manufacturers are well-positioned to thrive in competitive international markets.

The presence of key figures such as Minister Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef and Eng. Abdulrahman bin Suleiman Al Thukair at the signing ceremony highlights the government's commitment to supporting initiatives that drive economic diversification and growth through enhanced exports.

The focus remains on creating an enabling environment for exporters by providing necessary resources and support systems. This approach ensures that national products not only meet international standards but also gain a competitive edge in global markets.

This initiative aligns with Vision 2030's objectives, aiming for sustainable economic development by increasing non-oil exports' contribution to GDP. The collaboration between 30Export and Almarai exemplifies how public-private partnerships can effectively drive this vision forward.

The agreement marks a milestone in strengthening Saudi Arabia's position as a key player in international trade, particularly in non-oil sectors. By fostering such collaborations, Saudi Arabia continues to build a robust framework for its exporters, paving the way for long-term economic resilience and prosperity.
