Public Invited To Provide Feedback On 30 Economic Projects Via Istitlaa Platform

The National Competitiveness Center (NCC) has introduced 30 projects on its Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa. These projects, developed in collaboration with 14 government agencies, focus on economic and development matters. The NCC encourages feedback from the public, government bodies, and private sector before finalising these projects.

One significant project is the ‘Occupational Fitness and Non-Communicable Disease Examination Regulations’ by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. This initiative seeks to create a cohesive framework that aligns with both international best practices and local standards. Feedback for this project can be submitted via the Istitlaa platform.

Feedback Requested on 30 Economic Projects

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has proposed a regulatory framework titled ‘Regulations for Electing Heads of Crafts and Professions and Their Deputies.’ This aims to ensure fair representation for craftsmen and professionals in official settings. The public can provide their input on this project through the Istitlaa platform.

The National Center for Non-Profit Sector is also seeking feedback on ‘Rules for Implementing Social Impact Investments.’ This project intends to regulate social impact investments by certifying enterprises, boosting investor confidence, and offering ongoing support to certified entities. Public consultation will remain open until a specified date.

The Communications, Space and Technology Commission has introduced ‘Radio Spectrum Use Regulations for Program Making and Special Events (PMSE).’ This framework aims to optimise spectrum use for PMSE applications. Stakeholders are invited to share their views on this proposal.

Another key project is from the Real Estate General Authority, titled ‘Project for the System of Subdivision, Ownership of Real Estate Units, and Management of Common Areas.’ It focuses on regulating real estate unit subdivisions and ownership determination. Feedback from the public is encouraged until a designated date.

Promoting Transparency Through Public Engagement

The introduction of draft regulations through Istitlaa highlights increased transparency in legislative processes. By allowing citizens, government agencies, and private sectors to contribute insights on proposed business regulations, Istitlaa fosters a culture of public participation.
