292 Schools In Saudi Arabia Highlight Inspiring Educational Success Stories And Quality Transformation
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has seen a notable achievement with 292 schools reaching a significant milestone in education. This development is part of efforts by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC) to enhance educational standards through the National Program for School Evaluation, Classification, and Accreditation. This initiative aligns with the Kingdom Vision 2030 and the Human Capability Development Program.
The program's goal is to elevate public, private, and international institutions by assessing their current state and performance. It aims to improve education quality, contributing to national development and economic growth. The ETEC's strategy focuses on establishing a high-impact Saudi model of quality in education and training, positioning it as a global leader.

The "National Register of School Excellence" highlights the transformation journey undertaken by the commission in collaboration with the Ministry of Education. This initiative involved a comprehensive self-assessment across more than 24,000 schools and external assessments in about 19,000 schools across 78% of the Kingdom's regions.
Over 10 million students, teachers, and parents participated in this process. Various tools were used, including national tests designed to evaluate educational performance. These tests assessed over 1.5 million students across all schools, resulting in the collection of more than 1.7 billion data units.
This assessment has sparked a significant transformation in schools' efforts to foster a culture of quality, measurement, competitiveness, and scorecards. The "National Register of School Excellence" reflects ETEC's vision for quality transformation. It highlights key pillars and directions of the national program for school evaluation, classification, and accreditation.
The initiative aims to sustain excellence and enhance school performance by recognizing distinguished schools as role models. It also showcases inspiring success stories and achievements from pioneers in school excellence.
This effort seeks to elevate general education quality and improve outcomes while adhering to ETEC's strategy for establishing a high-impact Saudi model of quality in education. By doing so, it positions Saudi Arabia as a leader in educational standards globally.
