Public Invited To Provide Feedback On 29 Projects Through Istitlaa Platform
The National Competitiveness Center has unveiled 29 projects on its Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa. These projects, developed with 14 government bodies, invite feedback from the public, government entities, and private sector before approval. A significant project is 'Data Center Requirements,' which aims to enhance internet services and cloud computing infrastructure.
The Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission seeks input on a framework titled 'Release of Patients after Diagnostic or Therapeutic Procedures with Radionuclides, or with Implanted Brachytherapy Radiation Sources.' This initiative aims to establish technical regulations for patient release post-radioactive procedures. The public can provide feedback until a specified date.

Another project by the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) involves 'Amendments to the Implementing Regulation of the Personal Data Protection Law.' This project clarifies procedures and controls in executive regulations, aiding compliance and enforcement. Feedback is welcomed through Istitlaa until a designated deadline.
The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) has proposed an 'Update Implementing Regulation of the Finance Companies Control Law.' This update aligns regulations with the expanding financial activities. Public consultation for this project is open until a specific date.
Istitlaa's introduction of draft regulations and by-laws highlights increased transparency in legislation. It encourages public participation by allowing citizens, government agencies, and private sectors to share insights on proposed business environment regulations.
Through these initiatives, Istitlaa fosters a culture where diverse stakeholders contribute to shaping regulatory frameworks. This collaborative approach ensures that new laws are well-informed by those they impact directly.
