Public Consultation Platform Istitlaa Opens Feedback For 24 Economic And Development Projects
The National Competitiveness Center (NCC) has introduced 24 projects on its Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa. These initiatives, developed with 13 government agencies, invite feedback from the public, government bodies, and private sectors before approval. This approach aims to enhance transparency and encourage public involvement in shaping regulations.
Among the key projects is the ‘Regulations for the Provision of Water and Wastewater Services to Approved Plots and Development Projects,’ crafted by the Saudi Water Authority. This project seeks to establish guidelines for managing water and wastewater services in approved areas. Feedback on this initiative can be submitted via Istitlaa.

The Ministry of Education is also seeking input on a new framework titled ‘Regulatory Provisions and Requirements for the Kindergarten.’ The goal is to update policies and requirements for kindergarten stages according to international standards. The public can provide their opinions on this project through Istitlaa.
Social Facilities Job Guide
The Ministry of Human Resource and Social Development has proposed a project called ‘Guide to Jobs and Careers in Social Facilities for People with Disabilities.’ This initiative aims to define job titles for workers in these facilities, ensuring that workforce activities align with facility objectives. Public consultation will continue until a specified date.
Global AI Hub Law
The Communications, Space & Technology Commission is inviting feedback on a regulatory framework named ‘Global AI Hub Law.’ This project intends to position Saudi Arabia as a leader in AI and advanced technologies. The public can share their views on this proposal until a designated deadline.
Safety and Fire Prevention Responsibilities
The General Directorate of Civil Defense seeks public input on the ‘List of Responsibilities of the Specialist in Safety, Protection, and Fire Prevention in Government and Private Agencies.’ This project aims to improve safety levels across various work environments. Feedback can be submitted until a specific date through Istitlaa.
By introducing draft regulations through Istitlaa, NCC promotes transparency within legislative processes. It also encourages active participation from citizens, government entities, and private sectors in shaping business-related regulations. This collaborative approach ensures diverse perspectives are considered in decision-making processes.
