Public Consultation Invites Feedback On 24 Economic Projects Via Istitlaa Platform

The National Competitiveness Center (NCC) has introduced 24 projects on its Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa, focusing on economic and development matters. In collaboration with 17 government bodies, the NCC is inviting feedback from the public, government entities, and the private sector before these projects receive approval.

The Capital Market Authority is seeking public input on a project titled ‘Regulatory Framework to Allow Non-Resident Foreign Investors to Invest Directly in Shares Listed on the Main Market.’ This initiative aims to enable non-resident foreign investors to invest directly in the main market. Feedback for this project will be accepted until a specified date.

A significant project by the Center for National Health Insurance is also available on Istitlaa. Named ‘Regulation on the Accession of Accredited Health Institutions to the Network of the Center for National Health Insurance,’ it seeks to establish a regulatory bylaw for accredited healthcare providers. The public can provide their feedback until a designated deadline.

Biological Control Agents Regulation

The National Center for the Prevention and Control of Plants and Animal Diseases is requesting public opinions on a new regulatory framework called ‘Guidelines for the Registration of Biological Control Agents.’ This project focuses on regulating and monitoring biological control agents within Saudi Arabia's supply chain. The consultation period remains open until a specific date.

Funeral Facility Regulations

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has proposed a project named ‘Requirements for Funeral Washing Facilities’ on Istitlaa. It aims to regulate mortuary building construction according to the Saudi Building Code's stipulations. Public feedback is welcomed until a set deadline.

Introducing draft regulations through Istitlaa highlights increased transparency in legislative processes. It encourages public participation by allowing citizens, government agencies, and private sectors to share insights on proposed business environment regulations.
