Public Consultation Invites Feedback On 24 Economic Projects Via Istitlaa Platform

The National Competitiveness Center’s (NCC) Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa, has introduced 24 projects focusing on economic and development matters. Collaborating with 17 government bodies, the NCC seeks input from the public, government entities, and private sector before finalising these projects.

The National Cybersecurity Authority is seeking public opinion on a project named ‘Updates on the Saudi Cybersecurity Workforce Framework’. This initiative aims to provide a reference model for preparing and managing the cybersecurity workforce. Feedback will be collected until a specified date.

Feedback Invited on 24 Projects via Istitlaa

The Research, Development, and Innovation Authority has proposed a significant project titled ‘Guideline for International Scientific Cooperation for Researchers’. This project intends to create a unified framework for international research collaboration, ensuring adherence to best practices and global standards. Public comments are welcome until a designated deadline.

On the Istitlaa platform, the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has introduced a project called ‘Technical Regulations for Determining the Additional Period for Developing Lands Subject to the White Land and Vacant Property Fees System’. The goal is to improve fee efficiency on undeveloped lands to boost real estate market activity and balance supply with demand. Feedback is open until a specific date.

The Ministry of Commerce has initiated a public consultation regarding a project titled ‘Ministerial Resolution on Instant Fines for Failure to Comply with Beneficial Ownership Disclosure or the Annual Confirmation of Registered Information’. This project aims to enhance compliance with ownership rules and improve supervision tools. Public feedback will be accepted until an announced date.

The Jouf Strategic Development Office has presented an important project called ‘Urban Components Policy for Special Zones in Al-Jouf Region’ on the Istitlaa platform. This initiative seeks to establish regulatory standards for urban design in special zones of Al-Jouf, aligning with Northern Najdi identity. Feedback is open until a specified deadline.

Transparency and Public Participation

The introduction of draft regulations and similar projects through Istitlaa underscores increased transparency in legislative processes. It also encourages public participation by allowing citizens, government agencies, and private sectors to offer insights on proposed business regulations.
