Public Consultation Invited On 22 Economic And Development Projects Via Istitlaa Platform

The National Competitiveness Center (NCC) has introduced 22 projects on its Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa. These projects, developed with 22 government bodies, focus on economic and development affairs. The NCC encourages feedback from the public, government entities, and the private sector before finalising these initiatives.

A significant project is the ‘Draft Amendment to the Implementing Regulation of the National Associations and Establishments Law.’ Created by the National Center for Non-Profit Sector, it aims to simplify procedures for establishing civil society organisations. The public can share their views on this project via Istitlaa.

Feedback Sought on 22 Projects via Istitlaa

The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization seeks input on a new framework titled ‘Technical Regulation for Autonomous Vehicles.’ This regulation outlines safety requirements for self-driving vehicles and conformity assessment procedures for suppliers. Public consultation is open until a specified date.

The Ministry of Education is gathering opinions on a project called ‘Regulatory Framework for Gifted Education Classes and Schools.’ This initiative aims to create an organisational structure for managing gifted classes and schools. Feedback is welcomed until a designated deadline.

Additionally, the Saudi Water Authority is inviting comments on ‘Procedural Rules for Monitoring the Quality Standards of Unbottled Drinking Water.’ This project sets out monitoring requirements and quality standards across Saudi Arabia. The consultation period ends on a specific date.

Encouraging Public Participation

By introducing draft regulations through Istitlaa, transparency in legislation is enhanced. The platform promotes public involvement by allowing citizens, government agencies, and businesses to provide insights on proposed business-related regulations.

Istitlaa serves as a bridge between the government and its citizens, fostering collaboration in shaping policies that impact various sectors. This approach ensures that diverse perspectives are considered in decision-making processes.
