17th Dubai Crown Prince Endurance Festival To Begin Tomorrow With International Riders
The Dubai Crown Prince Endurance Festival's 17th edition begins tomorrow at the Dubai International Endurance City in Seeh Al Salam, running until January 11. Organised by the Dubai Equestrian Club and the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, this festival is a key event in the UAE's endurance racing scene, attracting both Emirati and international riders.
The festival features four distinct rides. It starts with the 101-kilometer Dubai Crown Prince Ride for Ladies on Tuesday. Following this, the 101-kilometer Dubai Crown Prince Ride for Private Stables takes place on Wednesday, covering the same challenging course. The third event is the 120km Yamamah Endurance Cup for Mares on Thursday. The festival concludes with the prestigious Dubai Crown Prince Endurance Cup, a 120km race sponsored by Emaar Properties, scheduled for Saturday.

Ahmed Al Kaabi, Deputy General Manager of the Dubai Equestrian Club, highlighted that over 800 horses will participate in various races during this edition. He emphasised its importance due to its association with H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. "It holds a prestigious and high-ranking position in the international endurance racing calendar."
Dr. Ghanem Al Hajri, Secretary-General of the UAE Equestrian Federation, remarked on the festival's special place in the country's endurance racing calendar. He noted that many riders are eager to join this major sporting event, which spans four consecutive days and includes various categories. This has led to increasing interest in the festival each year.
The festival not only showcases top-tier competition but also strengthens its reputation as a premier event in endurance racing worldwide. With its diverse range of races and significant participation, it continues to draw attention from enthusiasts globally.
