171 Horses To Compete In The Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup In Morocco This Weekend
The Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup (EAHGC) is set to commence its third leg in Morocco, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The event, supervised by Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, will unfold over three days at the Institut National du Cheval Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan in Rabat. This competition will feature a diverse range of categories, including yearling colts and fillies, as well as 2- and 3-year-old colts and fillies.
Morocco's rich history in Arabian horse activities is evident through its participation in this event. A total of 171 horses from about 52 owners across the nation will compete. The country has a notable reputation for hosting horse championships, further enhancing its equestrian legacy. The National Horse Institute, established in Rabat in 2013, plays a pivotal role in promoting equestrianism and preserving Morocco’s heritage through various national and international events.

The second edition of the EAHGC aims to support breeders and owners of Arabian horses worldwide. It underscores the UAE’s commitment to maintaining the prestigious status of Arabian horses globally. This series of championships highlights the UAE's dedication to preserving these horses' unique standing among organizations, breeders, and owners.
The first leg of this edition took place in Australia from January 31 to February 2, 2025. Following that, Bahrain hosted the second leg on May 1-2. The upcoming fourth leg is scheduled for China on July 17, 2025. Afterward, it will return to the Middle East with Oman hosting on August 1.
Poland is set to host the first European leg on August 8. Subsequently, Belgium will welcome participants on August 30. The United States will hold its event on September 11, followed by Argentina on September 18. The series will conclude with its tenth leg in Italy on November 8, 2025.
This global tour not only showcases the beauty and grace of Arabian horses but also strengthens international ties within the equestrian community. Each location offers a unique platform for competitors to display their skills and passion for these majestic animals.
