146 UAE Nationals Graduate From PureHealth’s Emirati Development Centre Leaders Programme
PureHealth, the leading healthcare group in the Middle East, recently celebrated the graduation of 146 UAE Nationals. This includes participants from the third cohort of its Emirati Development Centre (EDC) Leaders Programme. The EDC is a key platform for developing local talent to drive innovation and excellence in the healthcare sector.
The graduation event was attended by notable figures such as Dr. Noura Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), Shaista Asif, Group CEO of PureHealth, Prof. Deborah McNamara, President of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and Rashed Al Qubaisi, Group COO of PureHealth. They commended the graduates for their dedication and commitment.

Dr. Noura Al Ghaithi highlighted the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi’s dedication to empowering Emirati professionals. She described them as essential to national progress and congratulated the graduates on their achievements. Participants engage in tailored learning journeys through Individual Development Plans that align with organisational goals. Their development is supported by mentorship modules, real-world projects, and cross-functional training in leadership, business acumen, research and innovation, and strategic development.
This year marks a significant milestone for PureHealth’s commitment to Emiratisation with its largest cohort graduating from the programme. To date, over 317 PureHealth employees have been upskilled through this initiative. This reflects PureHealth’s strategic investment in nurturing Emirati leadership and unlocking national talent potential.
Rashed Al Qubaisi emphasised that the programme is built on innovation, excellence, and national pride. It aims to identify promising talent, guide their growth, and prepare them for future leadership roles.
