130 Global Speakers To Lead Discussions On Sustainable Investment At Sharjah Forum 2025
The 8th Sharjah Investment Forum (SIF 2025) is welcoming participants from 142 nations. This event offers a platform to engage with top ministers, senior officials, and international institution leaders. Held alongside the World Investment Conference (WIC), the forum will delve into global economic changes, sustainable investment strategies, career paths, and partnership models shaping sustainable development's future.
Taking place on 22nd and 23rd October, attendees will engage with over 130 notable speakers. These include entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and figures from media and sports. They will share insights on transforming experiences into successful investments, fostering innovation, and enhancing sustainable investment in the UAE and the broader Arab region.

Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi will moderate a high-level session. This session will explore strategies for economic growth amidst geopolitical tensions, financial fluctuations, and climate disruptions. The forum's opening sessions will feature Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi and Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak. They will discuss UAE’s economic diversification strategies to boost sustainable investment while aligning with climate neutrality goals.
International ministerial participation includes Mikayil Jabbarov from Azerbaijan, Miguel Medina from Honduras, and Qaiser Ahmed Shaikh from Pakistan. Discussions will focus on policy coordination and regional integration as tools for cross-border growth in emerging markets.
The event will host Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni of the World Free Zones Organisation; Dr. James Zhan of WAIPA; Dr. Matthew Stephenson from the World Economic Forum; Professor Raekwon Chung of the Ban Ki-moon Foundation; Gunther Beger of UNIDO; Creon Butler from Chatham House; Wolfgang Engel of the Institute of International Finance; Ebba Lund of the International Association of Science Parks; Walid Farghal of AIM Congress; and Ismail Erhasin of WAIPA.

Sharjah’s institutional leadership plays a central role in the programme. Participants include Waleed AbdelRahman BuKhatir from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce, Khalid Jasim Al Midfa from Sharjah Commerce Authority, Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer from Shurooq, Mohamed Juma Al Musharrkh from "Invest in Sharjah," and Hussain Al Mahmoudi from SPARK.
