Between June 12 and June 18, the Ministry of Interior conducted inspection campaigns across Saudi Arabia. These efforts aimed to ensure adherence to residency, labour, and border security laws. The inspections revealed a total of 12,066 violations: 7,333 related to residency, 3,060 concerning border security, and 1,673 involving labour laws.
During the same period, authorities intercepted 1,206 individuals attempting to enter the Kingdom illegally. Among them, 32% were Yemenis, 65% Ethiopians, and the remaining 03% belonged to other nationalities. Additionally, 71 people were apprehended for trying to exit the Kingdom unlawfully.

The Ministry has taken action against those facilitating illegal activities. Twenty-one individuals were arrested for transporting, sheltering, or employing violators. The Ministry emphasised that such actions are serious crimes warranting arrest.
The Ministry warned that anyone aiding illegal entry into Saudi Arabia could face severe penalties. These include up to 15 years in prison and fines reaching SAR1 million. Vehicles used for transport or houses used for shelter may also be confiscated as part of these penalties.
Currently, procedures are underway for enforcing regulations on 13,238 expatriates (12,015 men and 1,223 women). Of these individuals, 6,244 have been detained and instructed to contact their embassies or consulates for travel documents.
Repatriation Efforts
A total of 7,238 individuals have been repatriated following these inspections. Meanwhile, another group of 2,209 people has been advised to arrange their departure bookings promptly.
The Ministry urges residents to report any violations by calling specific numbers: 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions; elsewhere in the Kingdom dialling either 999 or 996 is recommended.
This comprehensive approach underscores the Kingdom's commitment to maintaining law and order while ensuring compliance with its regulations.
