100 Global Startups From 46 Countries To Compete In Entrepreneurship World Cup Finals In Riyadh
In Riyadh, 100 entrepreneurial projects from 46 countries have reached the finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) 2025. This event is part of the Biban Forum, organised by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at) from November 5 to 8. The theme for this year is "Global Destination for Opportunities," highlighting Saudi Arabia's role in entrepreneurship.
The EWC stands as the largest global competition for entrepreneurs. It is organised by Monsha'at in collaboration with the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) and the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk). Participants will vie for cash prizes exceeding $1.5 million. This event attracts entrepreneurs, investors, and international experts, showcasing Saudi Arabia's growing reputation as a hub for innovation.

The competition received significant interest, with over 10,300 applications from more than 169 countries. After several evaluation stages and a virtual training camp, the top 100 projects were chosen for the finals. Notable participating countries include Saudi Arabia, the United States, Korea, Canada, Singapore, France, Brazil, and the United Kingdom.
The selected companies represent crucial sectors such as communications and information technology, health and social services, agriculture, industry, and space. This diversity underscores the wide-ranging impact of entrepreneurship on various industries worldwide.
