Submissions Open For $1 Billion Pitches At The Upcoming 1 Billion Followers Summit In Dubai

The New Media Academy has opened submissions for the 1 Billion Pitches competition. This unique programme will be a highlight at the third edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit 2024 in Dubai. It offers startups and content creators a chance to connect with top investors and industry leaders, providing crucial support and funding opportunities.

Startups and content creators from around the world are encouraged to submit their business ideas by 20th September 2024. The selected participants will pitch live at the Summit, scheduled from 11th to 13th January 2025. To qualify, applicants must have a registered business and be at least 18 years old. Each startup can submit one idea, which will undergo a thorough evaluation process.

These shortlisted participants will then enter a specialised mentorship programme led by industry veterans. This training aims to equip them with skills and knowledge to refine their pitches for better chances of securing support during the January event.

Live Pitching at the Summit

The selected startups and content creators will present their ideas live at the Summit. Ten submissions will advance to the second stage through judges' evaluations and audience voting. These finalists will face additional challenges in the third stage before two winning pitches are chosen.
