1 Billion Followers Summit Unveils Key Partners For Upcoming Third Edition In January 2025
The 1 Billion Followers Summit, a pioneering event for the content creator economy, is set to take place in the UAE from 11th to 13th January 2025. Hosted at Dubai’s Emirates Towers, DIFC, and the Museum of the Future, this third edition will focus on "Content for Good." The summit aims to advance digital content and attract investors to support innovative ideas.
Major social media platforms are crucial partners for this event. They aim to enhance the content industry and provide learning opportunities for creators. The summit also collaborates with various partners like Yango Play, Shorooq, Etihad Airways, and Emaar. These partnerships are designed to shape the future of digital media by fostering innovation and collaboration among creators.

Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is a key strategic partner. It will host events aimed at boosting revenue in the digital content sector. This partnership focuses on developing young talent and equipping them with skills for future success. The creative economy is projected to reach AED 27 trillion by 2030, highlighting its significance.
The Museum of the Future will host several main events during the summit. These events will cover topics like technology, media, science, economics, environment, and social issues. This partnership aims to empower creators by exploring emerging opportunities in digital media across various fields.
Alia AlHammadi, Vice Chairperson of UAE Government Media Office and CEO of the summit, emphasised its global impact. She stated that it has become an inspiring platform for digital content progress. "The Summit's growing momentum—evident in its increasing followers, participants, diverse tracks, workshops, activities, and partners—highlights significant global interest from media outlets," she said.

The UAE Media Council plays a vital role in supporting the summit by creating an investment-friendly media environment. It aims to establish the UAE as a global media player through competitive strategies and policies.
