On 23 June, Viu, a leading video-streaming platform owned by PCCW, is set to captivate audiences once again with the premiere of its new Arabic reality Viu Original, The Big Bang Birthday. This follows the platform's previous success with the reality show We Wed (The Night of a Lifetime).

The narrative focuses on the celebration of Hadeel Marei, an Egyptian digital creator celebrated for her unique humor and expressive style, which has resonated with millions across the Arab world, including a vast Instagram following. The latest offering promises to deliver an engaging mix of friendship, self-expression, and the nuances of contemporary Arab identity, all set in the vibrant city of Abu Dhabi.

Marei's surprise birthday party is orchestrated by a close-knit group of friends, each an influential content creator in their own right. This group includes Amy Roko, a Saudi Arabian known for her veiled anonymity and sharp social commentary; Dana Halabi, a Syrian lifestyle influencer based in Dubai known for her warm and engaging personality; Jara, Saudi Arabia's pioneering female rapper who challenges cultural norms through her music; and Yussra Youssif, a Sudanese beauty and fashion influencer admired for her distinctive style.
