Sam Mendes has unveiled ambitious plans for a cinematic exploration of The Beatles, revealing a quartet of movies set to hit theaters in April 2028. Each film will delve into the individual journeys of the iconic band members, combining to narrate their collective legend.
The announcement was made at CinemaCon, where Mendes also disclosed the casting for these roles: Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, and Harris Dickinson as John Lennon. This ensemble of actors, recognized for their diverse and acclaimed performances, took to the stage in a nod to the Beatles' own iconic bow.
