Beloved British-Lebanese Actor Razane Jammal To Star In Netflix’s The Sandman Season 2 In 2025
British Lebanese actress Razane Jammal will return as Lyta Hall in the second season of Netflix's adaptation of DC Comics' THE SANDMAN. The new season is expected to be released in 2025.
THE SANDMAN, which premiered in 2022, follows Morpheus, the embodiment of dreams, who escapes captivity after 106 years. He then seeks to restore order to his realm, The Dreaming. The show quickly became a global hit, amassing 198 million hours of watch time within its first ten days on Netflix and trending on TikTok for weeks.

In the first season, Razane's character Lyta Hall was a recurring figure, particularly in the second main narrative arc. She led her own subplot where she reconnected with her deceased husband Hector, played by Lloyd Everitt, in her dreams. By the end of the season, Lyta had given birth to a son conceived in her dreams but born in the waking world.
Fans can anticipate intriguing developments as Lyta navigates raising her miracle baby. This storyline promises to bring new surprises and reveals in the upcoming season.
The second season will see Tom Sturridge reprising his role as Morpheus. New cast members include Ruairi O'Connor as Orpheus, Freddie Fox, Clive Russel, and Laurence O'Fuarain as Norse gods Loki, Odin, and Thor respectively. Jack Gleeson from GAME OF THRONES will also join as Puck.
Razane Jammal has captivated audiences globally with her diverse roles. Her recent performance in the Shahid original series AL THAMAN alongside Bassel Khaiat topped viewership charts across the Arab World upon release. This success catapulted Jammal to regional fame and solidified her reputation as a must-watch talent.
AL THAMAN also gained international recognition by becoming the first Arabic show sold to Portuguese- and Spanish-speaking countries. This achievement highlights Jammal's growing influence beyond the Arab World.
Before AL THAMAN, Jammal starred in Marwan Hamed's blockbuster KIRA & EL GIN. The film became the third highest-grossing movie in Egyptian box office history and earned Jammal the Best Actress in a Supporting Role Award at the 49th Cairo Film Society edition.
Jammal has also made significant strides in international cinema with roles in French, British, and American films. Three of these films were featured at the Cannes Film Festival: Cruel Summer (2012) by Kanye West, UNE HISTOIRE DE FOU (2014) by Robert Guediguian, and Carlos (2010) by Olivier Assayas, which won a Golden Globe in 2011.
The second season of THE SANDMAN promises to continue its success with an exciting cast and compelling storylines. Fans eagerly await more adventures from Morpheus and Lyta Hall.
