Legendary Oasis Announces Comeback: Gallagher Brothers Reunite for 2025 Tour
Good news for music lovers: British rock band Oasis have announced their reunion tour for 2025, as revealed on the band's official website. The tour will kick off on July 4 at Cardiff Principality Stadium in Wales, covering 14 dates across the UK.
Tickets will be available for purchase starting at 9 a.m. local time in the UK (4 a.m. ET) on Saturday, August 31. In a post on X, Noel and Liam Gallagher stated: "This is it, this is happening."

Oasis Reunion Tour Details
The announcement comes just two days before the 30th anniversary of their debut album "Definitely, Maybe," which was released in 1994. This album featured iconic tracks like "Live Forever," "Rock 'n' Roll Star," and "Supersonic," marking the beginning of Oasis' rapid rise to fame.
The band mentioned in a statement that there was no single moment that led to the reunion but rather a gradual realisation that the timing was right. They also hinted at additional dates outside Europe later next year.
Noel and Liam Gallagher have had a tumultuous relationship since Oasis disbanded in 2009, often exchanging harsh words publicly. Despite this, both brothers have previously discussed the possibility of reuniting.
Past Tensions and Future Plans
Noel commented in a 2023 interview with KPNW 89.9 radio that his brother would need to initiate contact for any reunion talks. He said he would be open to listening to Liam's ideas if approached.
Liam revealed before his UK-based "Definitely, Maybe" anniversary tour in June that Noel had turned down an offer for an Oasis reunion tour. "We put an offer on the table for an Oasis thing – because we got offered it – and he said no," Liam told Mojo in February. "It was a big tour, a lot of money. He turned it down."
Milestones and Solo Careers
Next year also marks another significant milestone for Oasis with the 30th anniversary of their second studio album "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?" Released in 1995, this album some of their most famous songs like "Wonderwall," "Don't Look Back in Anger," and "Champagne Supernova."
>In 1996, just one year after releasing "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?" Oasis performed to 250,000 fans over two nights at Knebworth Festival in England. According to BBC reports, more than 4% of the British population applied for tickets to these shows, making it one of the largest demands for concert tickets in British history.
The Breakup and Aftermath
Their last studio album was "Dig Out Your Soul" released in 2008. Noel left the band during a Paris gig in 2009, stating: "It's with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight." He added that he could no longer work with Liam.
Both brothers pursued successful solo careers following the split. Liam has released three solo albums along with several collaborative projects. Noel formed Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds in 2010 and has since released four studio albums.
Noel reflected on their relationship in the 2016 documentary "Oasis: Supersonic," saying: "Oasis' greatest strength was the relationship between me and Liam." He also noted that this relationship ultimately led to their downfall.
The upcoming reunion tour promises to be a significant event for fans who have long awaited seeing Oasis back together on stage.
