Following its successful showcase at the Venice Film Festival, the film is set to premiere in theaters across various regions on October 3, with an international rollout commencing on October 2. This marks exactly five years since the release of the film's predecessor, "Joker," which clinched the Golden Lion Award at the same festival.

The film, "Joker: Folie À Deux," emerges as a direct sequel to the 2019 blockbuster "Joker," which not only amassed over $1 billion globally but also stands as the highest-grossing R-rated film to date. Under the direction of Todd Phillips, who has received accolades for his work on the original movie, this new chapter once again showcases Joaquin Phoenix in his dual role as Arthur Fleck, also known as Joker.
