Don't Miss Out: "Joker: Folie À Deux" Tickets Available Today In The GCC Starring Phoenix and Lady Gaga!
Starting today, fans in the GCC can secure their tickets for the highly anticipated "Joker: Folie À Deux," the latest offering from Warner Bros. Pictures. This sequel, directed by Todd Phillips, not only returns Joaquin Phoenix to his Oscar-winning portrayal of Arthur Fleck but also introduces Lady Gaga into the mix.
Following its successful showcase at the Venice Film Festival, the film is set to premiere in theaters across various regions on October 3, with an international rollout commencing on October 2. This marks exactly five years since the release of the film's predecessor, "Joker," which clinched the Golden Lion Award at the same festival.

The film, "Joker: Folie À Deux," emerges as a direct sequel to the 2019 blockbuster "Joker," which not only amassed over $1 billion globally but also stands as the highest-grossing R-rated film to date. Under the direction of Todd Phillips, who has received accolades for his work on the original movie, this new chapter once again showcases Joaquin Phoenix in his dual role as Arthur Fleck, also known as Joker. Lady Gaga, an Oscar winner herself, joins the cast in a significant role, adding a fresh dynamic to the storyline.
In "Joker: Folie À Deux," Arthur Fleck is depicted enduring his days in Arkham, where he is held pending trial for his notorious actions as Joker. Amidst grappling with his complex identity, Arthur discovers not only a profound connection but also the musical talent that has long resonated within him. The film boasts an impressive cast, including Oscar nominees Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener, with Zazie Beetz reprising her role from the first installment.
Phillips helms the project, working off a screenplay co-written with Scott Silver, a fellow Oscar nominee. The duo draws on characters from DC to weave this narrative. The movie's production saw the collaboration of Phillips, Emma Tillinger Koskoff, and Joseph Garner, with Lady Gaga contributing as the music consultant. The executive production team comprises Michael E. Uslan, Georgia Kacandes, Silver, Mark Friedberg, and Jason Ruder.
The behind-the-scenes team reunites Phillips with several colleagues from the original "Joker" film, including Lawrence Sher as the director of photography and Mark Friedberg handling production design. Jeff Groth returns as the editor, with Hildur Guđnadóttir, the Oscar-winning composer from the first movie, once again scoring the film. A new addition is Arianne Phillips, an Oscar-nominated costume designer. The music production is led by executive producer Jason Ruder, with Randall Poster and George Drakoulias supervising the film's music. Casting was overseen by Francine Maisler.
Presented by Warner Bros. Pictures and produced by Joint Effort Production, "Joker: Folie À Deux" is heralded as a film by Todd Phillips. The global distribution is handled by Warner Bros. Pictures, ensuring the film's availability in theaters worldwide starting October 3, 2024. Fans and moviegoers can catch a glimpse of what to expect by viewing the regional trailer.
