Ben Affleck Seen With RFK's Daughter Post JLo Split
Ben Affleck appears to be moving on from his estranged wife, Jennifer Lopez, with the company of RFK Jr.'s daughter, Kick Kennedy. The two have been seen together in Los Angeles, including at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills, according to a source.
Who is Kick Kennedy?
Unlike her father, who had a failed presidential run, Kick Kennedy has chosen a different path. At 36, she has pursued a career in acting rather than politics. According to IMDB, she appeared as "customer #2" in an episode of HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm, which also stars her stepmother Cheryl Hines.
Kick—whose full name is Kathleen Alexandra—is one of two children from RFK Jr.'s first marriage to Emily Black. She was named after her great-aunt Kathleen Agnes Cavendish, who was President John F. Kennedy's older sister. The elder Kathleen died at age 28 in a plane crash in France.
Affleck and Lopez's Relationship Status
Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck on Tuesday after what seemed like a prolonged breakup. This comes just two years after they remarried following their second romance. The couple had initially dated from 2002 and got engaged but split in 2004. They were seen on opposite sides of the country throughout the summer and did not attend each other's birthday parties.
Affleck and Lopez reportedly did not have a prenuptial agreement or settlement in place. This was Affleck's second marriage and Lopez's fourth.
Political Differences
Affleck is known for his strong Democratic views. In contrast, Kick's father recently ended his presidential campaign to support Republican candidate Donald Trump in the upcoming election.
On Saturday, Kick posted a photo on Instagram holding an eagle but did not include any caption or sign of Affleck.
The nature of Kick's relationship with Affleck remains unconfirmed. They might be discussing a potential movie role for her.
