Tanguy Ndombele Parts Ways With Tottenham Hotspur After Mutual Contract Termination
Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the departure of Tanguy Ndombele after his contract was terminated by mutual consent. Ndombele, who joined Spurs from Lyon in July 2019, was the club's record signing at the time. During his tenure, he scored 10 goals in 91 appearances.
The French midfielder last played for Tottenham against Morecambe in January 2022. Following this, he spent two-and-a-half seasons on loan. Initially, he returned to Lyon for the remainder of the 2021-22 season. Subsequently, he secured league titles with Napoli and Galatasaray during season-long loans.

Although Ndombele's contract was set to run until June 2025, both parties decided to part ways a year early. Tottenham announced the termination on their website, wishing him well for the future.
Ndombele's return to Lyon marked the beginning of his loan journey. He then moved to Napoli, where he contributed to their league title win. His next stint at Galatasaray also resulted in a league title, showcasing his impact on both teams.
The decision to terminate Ndombele's contract was effective from 30 June, coinciding with the end of his current loan spell. Tottenham expressed their best wishes for his future endeavours via their official Twitter account.
