Tottenham's Postecoglou Urges Patience Amid Transfer Window Misinformation
Ange Postecoglou has asked Tottenham fans to remain patient regarding new signings during the transfer window. So far, Spurs have secured two new players: Archie Gray from Leeds United for a reported £40 million and Lucas Bergvall from Djurgardens. Additionally, Timo Werner has rejoined on loan for the upcoming season.
Postecoglou emphasised the importance of patience as the club works on bringing in more players. "At this time of year, it's pretty hard for supporters because they don't have all the information, and it's fair to say there's plenty of misinformation out there," he said during a press conference. "We're working hard to bring players in, and it's a process that you sometimes have to be patient with."

Werner had an impressive start after initially joining in January, contributing two goals and three assists before his season was cut short by injury. Despite fans' eagerness for more reinforcements, Postecoglou urged them to trust the club's ongoing efforts.
The manager highlighted the need for discipline in their approach. "Sometimes the timings don’t work out, and it doesn’t happen as quickly as you want, and you don’t get them [players] in at the right time," he explained. "But I think it’s really important you stay disciplined and not run off and chase other things."
He assured fans that their initial plans remain unchanged despite delays. "So, what we started with at the start of summer is still there, and I wouldn’t want to put timelines on it," Postecoglou added. "A lot of that is out of our control, and we just need to be patient."
Upcoming Pre-Season Match
Spurs are set to face Japanese side Vissel Kobe in their next pre-season match on Saturday. The team continues to prepare for the upcoming season while working on strengthening their squad.
Postecoglou reiterated that their objectives remain consistent. "From where I sit, at the moment, we're still in that phase where what we identified is still what we're after," he stated.

The manager's call for patience reflects a strategic approach to building a competitive team without rushing into decisions.
As Spurs navigate through the transfer window, fans are encouraged to trust the process and support the club's long-term vision.
