Sancho Shares Bellingham And Vinicius Jr Exchange Before Champions League Clash
Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho has shared his excitement ahead of the UEFA Champions League final, revealing he has been in contact with Real Madrid stars Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr. Sancho and Bellingham were teammates at Borussia Dortmund before Sancho moved to Manchester United in July 2021. Bellingham joined Real Madrid last June and has been a standout player at Santiago Bernabeu.
Sancho returned to Signal Iduna Park in January after a challenging period at Old Trafford, where he struggled for form and had a public falling out with manager Erik ten Hag. The 24-year-old winger has since found his stride back in Dortmund, contributing significantly to Edin Terzic's squad as they prepare for Saturday's European fixture at Wembley.

Speaking to TNT Sports, Sancho discussed his interactions with Bellingham and Vinicius Jr. following Real Madrid's semi-final victory over Bayern Munich. "It's going to be a great game. Madrid, their history speaks for itself; they've got a lot of great players. I've got a few friends over there, Vini and Jude. I actually messaged them after they won against Bayern Munich. I said, 'I'll see you there.' It's going to be a tense game, for sure. I can't wait," Sancho stated.

Sancho's tenure at Manchester United was marked by criticism and a strained relationship with Ten Hag. Despite these challenges, he remained confident in his ability to perform in high-stakes matches. "It's a big family, everyone respects each other, everyone helps each other. Especially for me, a young player, you need this foundation and especially the fans," he said.
"The fans always support me through good and bad times, and that is what keeps me—and young players—motivated to do their best. I always knew one day I would play in a game like this," Sancho added.
Anticipation for the Final
Sancho expressed his anticipation for the upcoming final in London. "For it to be London, and for me to be only 24, to get my first experience in a Champions League final is actually surreal. It hasn't really sunk in yet, but when we travel to London the occasion will start to hit me," he concluded.
