According to Page, the head of Cardiff's medical team had previously worked with him at Port Vale, and their club doctor currently serves as the doctor for Wales' Under-21s.

"I don't know what all the fuss is about, to be honest," Page remarked, dismissing concerns over any communication gap. He further stated, "We just want the player fit, both Cardiff and ourselves. We are in constant communication. I trust my medical team. I don't need to have a conversation with the (Cardiff) manager."
