New Regulator Granted Authority To Resolve Premier League And EFL Financial Dispute

In a significant move aimed at addressing the ongoing financial disparities between the Premier League and the English Football League (EFL), the UK Government has announced the introduction of the Football Governance Bill to Parliament. This legislation is set to empower an independent football regulator with "backstop powers" to intervene and ensure a fair settlement in financial distribution disputes between the two leagues.
