Max Kilman Transfers To West Ham In £40 Million Deal From Wolves
West Ham have secured Max Kilman from Wolves for a reported £40 million. The defender has committed to a seven-year contract with the club. Wolves initially rejected a £25 million offer but accepted the improved bid for Kilman, who had signed a long-term deal with them last year.
Kilman is reunited with his former manager, Julen Lopetegui, who made him captain while at Wolves. "It's an amazing feeling to be a West Ham player," Kilman said. He expressed his excitement about joining the club and working again with Lopetegui.

"As soon as I was aware of the interest from the club, it was an opportunity I was keen to pursue, so I couldn't be more delighted to be here," Kilman stated. He praised Lopetegui as a top-class coach from whom he learned a lot and is confident he will continue to improve under his management at West Ham.
The 27-year-old joined Wolves in 2018 and debuted in May 2019. Over his time there, he made 151 appearances across all competitions and scored three goals. His experience and skills are expected to bolster West Ham's defence significantly.
Kilman becomes Lopetegui's third signing at West Ham, following Brazilian winger Luis Guilherme and goalkeeper Wes Foderingham into the club. This strategic move aims to strengthen the team's overall performance for upcoming seasons.
The transfer marks a significant investment by West Ham in their defensive lineup. Fans are eager to see how Kilman's addition will impact the team's dynamics and performance on the field.
With this acquisition, West Ham continues its efforts to build a robust squad capable of competing at higher levels. The collaboration between Kilman and Lopetegui is anticipated to bring positive results for the team.
