Manchester United Continues Boardroom Shakeup With Two Key Departures

Manchester United have announced significant changes to their executive team as part of the ongoing restructuring under new partial owner Jim Ratcliffe. The club confirmed on their official website that Patrick Stewart, the interim chief executive, and Cliff Baty, the chief financial officer, are set to leave Old Trafford at the end of the current season. This move marks a continued effort to reshape the club's management following Ratcliffe's acquisition of a 27.7% stake.

Stewart, who stepped into his role earlier this year replacing Richard Arnold, will see Jean-Claude Blanc, a familiar face to Ratcliffe through INEOS Sport, stepping in temporarily until Omar Berrada takes over in July. Meanwhile, Roger Bell, also linked with INEOS, will succeed Baty as CFO. These changes come amidst a broader shakeup within the club's hierarchy aimed at steering Manchester United into a new era.

Ratcliffe expressed his gratitude towards both Stewart and Baty for their contributions during this transitional period.
