De Bruyne Yet To Discuss Manchester City Future Amid Contract Speculation
Kevin De Bruyne has indicated he will likely remain with Manchester City for the next season, though his future beyond that remains uncertain. The Belgian midfielder has one year left on his contract and has attracted interest from Saudi Pro League clubs recently.
De Bruyne, who joined City from Wolfsburg in 2015, has had a remarkable nine-year tenure. During this period, he has won six Premier League titles, the Champions League, five EFL Cups, two FA Cups, and the Club World Cup.

Currently participating in Euro 2024 with Belgium, De Bruyne is preparing for their last-16 match against France on Monday. He mentioned that he plans to resolve his future after the tournament concludes. "I've read a lot of headlines, but I haven't spoken to anyone," De Bruyne told HLN via The Athletic.
"I hope I can last a few more years. Everyone knows I'm under contract at City for another year. And that I haven't talked to anyone yet. I assume there will be talks with City in the next few months," he added.
Despite a five-month injury lay-off limiting him to 26 appearances across all competitions last season, De Bruyne still managed six goals and 18 assists. His contributions were crucial as City secured their fourth consecutive Premier League title.
The midfielder acknowledged that a lucrative contract offer could influence his decision in the future. "Look, I have more than enough money. I know that well enough," De Bruyne stated. "If a silly amount is offered later, then that's not for me. That's for all my family, my friends, my children, my great-grandchildren, my children's neighbours."
De Bruyne expressed his intention to enjoy a quiet summer holiday before returning to Manchester City. "My summer will be very quiet. I will enjoy my holidays. And then I will return to City," he said.
The uncertainty surrounding his long-term future adds an element of intrigue as fans and clubs alike await further developments regarding one of football's most talented midfielders.
