Juventus Fights Back To Claim Dramatic 3-3 Draw Against Bologna In Serie A

Interim Juventus manager Paolo Montero commended his team's resilience after they staged a remarkable comeback to draw 3-3 against Bologna in Serie A on Monday. Juventus had recently dismissed Massimiliano Allegri following their Coppa Italia final win over Atalanta, citing his fiery behaviour as a key reason for the decision.

Facing Bologna, led by Thiago Motta, who is speculated to be Allegri's successor, Juventus found themselves trailing 3-0 within 53 minutes. Federico Chiesa ignited the comeback with a goal in the 76th minute. Arkadiusz Milik's subsequent free-kick set up a thrilling finale, and Kenan Yildiz's 84th-minute equaliser ensured Juventus avoided defeat after being three goals down for the first time in their Serie A history.

Juventus' Dramatic Draw with Bologna

Despite drawing their last six league games and facing the possibility of slipping out of the top four on the final matchday, Montero believes his players deserve recognition for their efforts. "In my view, the draw was the fair result," Montero told DAZN. "The victory on Wednesday was important; mentally it drained them. To come here against one of the best teams at the moment like Bologna, you are going to struggle."

Montero highlighted the team's pride and commitment: "After that dip in mentality, they fought back with pride and showed how much they care about the shirt."
