Mehdi Taremi Joins Inter Milan Following His Porto Exit

Inter have announced the acquisition of Mehdi Taremi on a three-year contract after his exit from Porto. The agreement, finalised earlier this year, was confirmed following Taremi's medical clearance. He left Portugal upon the expiration of his contract.

Taremi played 182 matches for Porto since joining in 2020, netting 91 goals across all competitions. During his four-year tenure, he secured the Primeira Liga title, two Portuguese Super Cups, three Portuguese Cups, and the Portuguese League Cup.

Taremi expressed his joy on the club's website: "I am very happy to be here today, it is a dream come true for me. I feel good and I am very happy. I have to say that this is the happiest moment of my life."

This transfer window has seen Taremi become the third player to join Inter at San Siro. He follows Piotr Zielinski and Josep Martinez in bolstering the squad.
