Geneva Set To Host UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 With Family-Friendly Activities

Geneva is gearing up for an exciting summer with two significant initiatives aimed at promoting women’s sports. Highlighting the summer calendar is the UEFA Women's EURO 2025, staged in July, and the #ChangeonsLaDonne campaign. This campaign is dedicated to increasing women's representation in sports committees to 40% by 2026. Both initiatives enjoy strong backing from public authorities and are set to make a substantial impact.

As the host city, Geneva is set to welcome nearly 100,000 spectators for the UEFA Women's EURO 2025. In preparation, the Stade de Genève Foundation is driving a significant renovation project, funded by the canton, with an investment of CHF 4.1 million (AED 18 million).

Sports Villages and Fan Zones

The city plans to captivate residents and visitors alike with the creation of a Sports Village along Quai Gustave Ador. This hub will host sports demonstrations, introductions to various sports, and opportunities for meet-and-greets with athletes.
