Endrick To Replace Vinicius In Brazil's Lineup For Copa America Quarter-Final
Endrick is set to make his first start for Brazil in their Copa America quarter-final against Uruguay. He will replace Vinicius Junior, who received his second yellow card of the tournament during the match against Colombia. Endrick, who has scored three goals in nine appearances for Brazil, will join Raphinha and Rodrygo in the attack at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Dorival Junior confirmed the attacking line-up, stating, "The attack has already been decided. Raphinha, Endrick and Rodrygo. I hope we can continue finding the way to goals." He emphasised the importance of giving players opportunities to attack the opponent's last line and expressed confidence in Endrick's readiness to meet expectations.

Brazil scored five goals during their group stage matches at the tournament, with four of those goals coming in the first half. This tally is their highest at this stage since 1999. In their final Group D fixture against Colombia, Raphinha scored his seventh international goal but assured that Endrick's inclusion would not affect his role on the team.
"My role on the field does not change. Endrick plays another position," Raphinha said. "We have that profile of adapting quickly to any position." He added that his position would only change based on other players and game circumstances.
Dorival acknowledged the difficulty of facing Uruguay, who topped their group with a perfect record. "They are a team that deserves all our respect," he said. "This could be a semi-final or final of the Cup. We are rivals who know each other and respect each other, and it will be a great match."
The Brazilian coach highlighted that despite losing an important player like Vinicius Junior, they gained a promising talent in Endrick. "We lost an important player, but we gained a player who has been emerging, looking for an opportunity," he said. "Who knows, this could be Endrick's moment."
