Italy Legend Alessandro Nesta Takes Helm At Monza Following Palladino's Fiorentina Move
Italy's football legend Alessandro Nesta has been appointed as the new head coach of Monza. The 48-year-old takes over from Raffaele Palladino, who recently moved to Fiorentina. Nesta, a World Cup winner in 2006, steps into his first Serie A season as a coach after managing Perugia, Frosinone, and Reggiana.
Nesta led Reggiana to an 11th-place finish in Italy's second tier and has resolved his contract issues with the club to join Monza. His new team finished 12th last season in their second Serie A campaign.
