Al-Ittihad's Winless Run Persists With Draw Against Al-Khaleej
Mohamed Sherif scored late as Al-Ittihad's winless run in the Saudi Pro League extended to four games following a 1-1 draw with Al-Khaleej. Al-Ittihad, enduring a difficult title defence, can now finish no higher than fourth with just two games remaining. Muhannad Al Shanqiti put them ahead on the stroke of half-time.
Despite having eight more shots and accumulating 1.07 xG in the second half, Al-Ittihad failed to add another goal. Their missed opportunities proved costly when Egypt international Sherif equalised for 11th-placed Al-Khaleej in the 81st minute.

Al-Tai moved out of the relegation zone with a surprising 3-1 victory over seventh-placed Al-Fateh. Bernard Mensah was instrumental, scoring twice to secure the win. Meanwhile, Al-Raed claimed a narrow 1-0 win at Al-Wehda.
On the day he received an unexpected recall to the France national team, N'Golo Kante created three chances for Al-Ittihad, leading his team in this regard. However, Kante attempted only one tackle, showcasing a different aspect of his game. Despite his efforts, it did not yield a win for his team.
