India Champions clinched the inaugural World Championship of Legends 2024 title on Saturday (July 13), defeating Pakistan Champions by five wickets in a thrilling final at Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham. The victory was a testament to the team's resilience and skill.

Pakistan Champions, after winning the toss, chose to bat first and set a competitive target of 156 for 6 in their allotted 20 overs. India Champions responded strongly, reaching 159 for 5 in 19.1 overs, much to the delight of their supporters.

The Yuvraj Singh-led team displayed remarkable dominance throughout the tournament, culminating in a nail-biting final that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the last over. The win was particularly special as it came against arch-rivals Pakistan.

After securing the title, India Champions players took to social media to share their joy and reactions. Many expressed that winning against Pakistan made the victory even more memorable.

Irfan Pathan also mentioned how they often troubled Yuvraj with advice but appreciated his management skills. "We troubled him a lot by giving him too many advices but he managed everything so so well. Love you brother for that phone call," Irfan added.

Skipper Yuvraj Singh himself expressed his happiness on social media, thanking fans for their support in Birmingham and Northampton. "Feels good to be holding the winning trophy at this age too.
