India's Young Cricket Talents: Abhishek Sharma Among Top T20I Centurions

Yashasvi Jaiswal made history in 2023 by becoming the first Indian to score a century at the Asian Games. He hit an impressive 100 off just 49 balls against Nepal in Hangzhou, featuring eight fours and seven sixes. At 21 years and 279 days old, Jaiswal became India's youngest T20I centurion. His innings helped India reach 202/4 in 20 overs, eventually restricting Nepal to 179/9.

In Ahmedabad during the third and final match against New Zealand in 2023, Shubman Gill scored his maiden T20I century. He hit 12 fours and seven sixes, amassing an unbeaten 126 off 63 balls. At 23 years and 146 days old, Gill became India's second-youngest T20I centurion. India won by a massive margin of 168 runs after posting a total of 234/4.

Suresh Raina vs South Africa, 2010

Suresh Raina became the first Indian to score a century in the T20 World Cup during the 2010 tournament. He scored a quickfire 101 off just 60 balls against South Africa in Gros Islet, hitting nine fours and five sixes. At the age of 23 years and 156 days, Raina was the third-youngest Indian to achieve this feat. India posted a total of 186/5 and restricted South Africa to 172/5.
