Yastika Bhatia Ruled Out Of Australia Tour Due To Injury; Uma Chetry Named Replacement
Yastika Bhatia, a key player in the Indian women's cricket team, will not participate in the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia Women. The All India Women's Selection Committee announced her absence due to an injury on Wednesday, November 27.
Bhatia's wrist injury has forced her out of the tour to Australia. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) stated that her recovery is under close observation by the BCCI Medical Team, which ruled her out for the series.

Uma Chetry, a young wicketkeeper-batter, has been chosen as Bhatia's replacement. At 22 years old, Chetry made her debut for India in July and has played four T20I matches. This will be her first opportunity to play in an ODI series during the tour of Australia.
The BCCI had earlier revealed the squad for the Australian series on November 19. Shafali Verma was dropped from the team due to a lack of form with the bat. Other players not included are Shreyanka Patil, Hemalatha, and Sayali Satghare.
Tejal Hasabnis continues to be part of the team after performing well in recent matches for India. Harmanpreet Kaur remains as captain, leading the squad into this important series.
India's last ODI challenge was against New Zealand's White Ferns at home, where they secured a 2-1 victory. In their previous encounter with Australia last year, India faced a clean sweep defeat in a three-match series at home.
The upcoming ODIs are scheduled at Brisbane's Allan Border Field on December 5 and 8. The final match will take place at Perth's WACA Ground on December 11. These games are part of the ICC Women's Championship.
