Women's Asia Cup 2024: Full Teams List Unveiled For The Tournament

The ninth edition of the Women's Asia Cup will take place in Dambulla, Sri Lanka, from July 19 to 28. Eight teams will compete in this T20 tournament, organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).

The teams are divided into two groups of four for the first round. Each team will play against the other teams in their group in a single round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.

The group stage matches will occur from July 19 to 24. The semi-finals are scheduled for July 26 and the final match on July 28. All matches will be held at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium.

The defending champions India are placed in Group A with Pakistan Nepal and UAE. Group B includes Bangladesh Sri Lanka Malaysia and Thailand.

The four full members of the ACC - Bangladesh India Pakistan and Sri Lanka - qualified automatically. Malaysia Nepal UAE and Thailand qualified through the Women's Premier Cup as semi-finalists.

As the tournament approaches teams have started announcing their squads. Bangladesh UAE and Nepal have revealed their players while others will announce soon.
