Vaibhav Suryavanshi Achieves Dream Selection In India U19 Squad For 2024 ACC Asia Cup

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 13-year-old cricket sensation from Bihar, has been selected for the India Under-19 team. He will compete in the 2024 Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Under-19 Asia Cup in the UAE.

The young cricketer made his debut for Bihar at just 12 years old. His standout performance includes a rapid century off 58 balls against Australia's U-19 team during a four-day match in Chennai, showcasing his potential as a future star.

His consistent performances and dedication have earned him a spot in the national squad. Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) president Rakesh Tiwari praised Vaibhav's achievement and expressed confidence in his future success on the international stage.

"Vaibhav's selection is a proud moment for Bihar. His hard work, focus, and passion for the game have brought him this far, and I am confident he will continue to make us proud," said Mr. Tiwari in a statement.

Upon hearing about his selection, Vaibhav felt an overwhelming sense of joy. "I can't describe the feeling—it's a dream come true. The first thing I did was call my father to share the news, then my entire family," he said, visibly overjoyed.

BCA President Rakesh Tiwari also personally congratulated Vaibhav and encouraged him to keep pushing forward. "Rakesh sir told me to continue working hard and make everyone proud as his support will always be there for me," Vaibhav shared.

He further acknowledged Tiwari's role in his journey: "Rakesh sir has supported me a lot ever since I started playing domestic matches. He provided me with opportunities and backed me. I would like to thank Rakesh Tiwari sir and BCA for continued support."
