In a thrilling start to the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, the USA achieved the third-highest run chase in the tournament's history, defeating Canada by seven wickets in Dallas.

This feat saw the USA successfully chase down Canada's total of 195, setting a new record for the highest target chased by the team in T20Is. Below is a list of the highest run-chases in T20 World Cup history.

Canada, batting first, set an imposing target of 195, thanks to strong performances from Navneet Dhaliwal (50) and Nicholas Kirton. Aaron Johnson also made a significant impact, smashing the first ball of the tournament for a boundary and contributing to Canada's brisk start.

Despite early setbacks, including Johnson's dismissal by Harmeet Singh and Pargat Singh's run-out, Canada managed to rebuild.
