Team India To Celebrate T20 World Cup Win With PM Modi And Victory Parade
The Indian cricket team will receive a grand welcome in Delhi after clinching the T20 World Cup 2024 title at Kensington Oval in Barbados on June 29.
Due to Hurricane Beryl, the team was stranded in Barbados as the airport was closed. Players, their families, coaching staff, support staff, and BCCI officials stayed in a hotel for four days before departing on a special 'Air India' flight.

The flight is scheduled to land in Delhi on Thursday morning around 6 AM. The team will freshen up at their hotel rooms before heading to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 9:30 AM.
According to India Today, after meeting the Prime Minister, Rohit Sharma and his team will fly to Mumbai on a chartered flight. A 1 km bus parade will take them to Wankhede Stadium for a small event.
At Wankhede Stadium, there will be a brief presentation where Rohit Sharma will hand over the World Cup trophy to BCCI secretary Jay Shah. Following this event, the players will disperse from the stadium in the evening.
