Team India Shares Light Moments In Fielding Session Before Sri Lanka Series
India's cricket team had a lively fielding session on Friday, July 26, ahead of their first match in the Sri Lanka series. Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav were seen enjoying themselves during the drills.
The Indian squad is set to play the first T20I against Sri Lanka on Saturday, July 27, in Pallekele. This will be followed by a three-match ODI series.

On Friday, fielding coach T Dilip organised an intense training session that all players attended. A video shared by BCCI showed the Indian stars participating enthusiastically in the drills. Teams were formed among the players, and Pandya and Yadav were seen smiling and hugging each other.
Sanju Samson, Ravi Bishnoi, and Rishabh Pant stood out during the session. Bishnoi hit the bullseye in a wicket-throw competition, while Samson made an impressive diving catch.
Suryakumar Yadav was recently named the new T20I captain for India. Hardik Pandya's exclusion from this role sparked debate, with some criticising Gautam Gambhir for his decision. Pandya also lost his vice-captaincy to Shubman Gill. Despite these changes, both Pandya and Yadav appeared relaxed during training.

Gambhir's Coaching Debut
The video released by BCCI likely helped ease any tension within the Indian camp. Gautam Gambhir, making his debut as India's coach, seemed pleased with the team's high spirits during practice.
The camaraderie among players was evident under Gambhir's watchful eye. He was seen smiling as he observed Pandya and Yadav's light-hearted interactions.
This positive atmosphere bodes well for India's upcoming matches against Sri Lanka. The team's unity and enthusiasm could be key factors in their performance.
