Team India's Departure From Barbados Delayed, Expected In Delhi Thursday Morning

Team India's departure from Barbados has been further delayed. The T20 World Cup 2024 champions are now expected to arrive in Delhi around 5 AM on Thursday. Initially, the Indian cricket team was scheduled to leave Barbados on Tuesday evening.

The charter plane meant to transport Team India directly to Delhi did not arrive in Barbados at the anticipated time, causing the delay. The airport in Barbados had been closed due to Hurricane Beryl but has since reopened.

Players, coaches, support staff, family members, and BCCI officials are now expected to leave Barbados between 2-3 AM on Wednesday (local time). The Men in Blue are tentatively scheduled to reach Delhi between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM on Thursday morning.
