Team India And Fans Celebrate T20 World Cup Win At Wankhede Stadium
Mumbai was in an emotional whirlwind as it embraced the world beaters with both hands. The entire city went to a standstill at the Marine Drive to welcome the World Champions.
Team India reached early on Thursday morning in New Delhi. They were welcomed with a lot of love from the fans. After landing in the capital, the entire team went to meet PM Narendra Modi and then subsequently left for Mumbai. This was India's 2nd T20 World Cup triumph, after a massive gap of 17 years.

Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and others were at the open top bus parade, which took a long voyage through the sea of people in Marine Drive and then entered the Wankhede Stadium. Thousands of fans were already waiting there, defying the rain as a victory ceremony was organized at the stadium.
The Indian team then into a frenzy mode with the fans. The entire team took a round of the stadium and the team was seen dancing to the tunes. Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma instigated a dance with 'Chak De India' playing in the background, and the entire team joined in.
At the stadium, it was an emotional celebration as the players soaked in the atmosphere. Rohit Sharma opened up on his thoughts, Virat Kohli spoke about India's united mission of winning the World Cup, along with the Wankhede Stadium cheering 'Hardik, Hardik' in unison.
Then it came to 'Vande Mataram', and the scene changed completely. The players were walking and singing their voices out. Virat Kohli was animated, and so were the other players who chanted 'Maa Tujhe Salaam' with the entire crowd at the stadium.
