T20 World Cup Winners Rohit Sharma, Pandya & Yadav Celebrated At Ambani Event
During the sangeet ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai on Friday (July 5) night, the T20 World Cup-winning trio of Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Suryakumar Yadav received a huge ovation.
The event wasn't just about performances and celebrity appearances. Nita Ambani, chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, organized a special puja (prayer ceremony) for the players. She ensured the cricketers were treated like VIPs, introducing them with the iconic song 'Lehra Do' from the movie '83' playing in the background.

As Rohit, Suryakumar, and Pandya stepped into the spotlight, the audience cheered loudly. Nita Ambani expressed how personal the T20 World Cup win is for her since these three stalwarts are also part of her Mumbai Indians family.
Nita Ambani relived the excitement of the T20 World Cup final and its thrilling last over. She mentioned how the nation watched with bated breath as India pulled off a victory from a nearly impossible situation. Lauding Pandya, who bowled the last over, she said, "Tough Times don't last but tough people do."
Mukesh Ambani echoed similar sentiments by congratulating the cricketers for making India proud. He mentioned how it took him back to the feeling of India's 2011 World Cup win.
