T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8: Teams, Venues, And Match Dates Revealed

The T20 World Cup 2024 has narrowed down to eight teams from an initial pool of 20, following Bangladesh's victory over Nepal on June 17. This win secured the final spot in the Super 8 stage.

This year's tournament, held in the USA and the Caribbean, is notable for featuring 20 teams for the first time. The teams were initially divided into four groups of five for the first round.

After a single round-robin format, the winners and runners-up from each group advanced to the Super 8. These eight teams were then split into two groups of four.

Notable eliminations from the group stage included Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and New Zealand. Other teams that exited early were Netherlands, Ireland, Nepal, Canada, Oman, Scotland, Uganda, Papua New Guinea, and Namibia.

The eight teams advancing to the Super 8 are South Africa, Australia, England, India, USA, West Indies, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.

The Super 8 matches will commence on June 19 and conclude on June 24. A total of 12 matches will be played across four venues in the Caribbean. Below are the venues and fixtures:
