Venue Announced For India Vs Bangladesh T20 World Cup 2024 Warm-Up Match

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the venue for the warm-up match between India and Bangladesh ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024. The prestigious tournament is set to begin on June 1, featuring 20 teams vying for the title. India is placed in Group A alongside Pakistan, USA, Canada, and Ireland.

Following the conclusion of IPL 2024, Indian cricket stars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will lead their team to the USA. They will play a solitary warm-up match against Bangladesh. While venues for other warm-up matches were previously scheduled, the location for this particular match had not been confirmed until now.

On Tuesday, ICC revealed that the Nassau County Cricket Stadium in New York will host the warm-up match between India and Bangladesh. This stadium is also set to host India's highly anticipated clash against Pakistan.

Tickets for the India vs Bangladesh warm-up match will go on sale on Thursday. Fans from Nassau County and those holding World Cup tickets have an early opportunity to purchase tickets on Wednesday at 10:00am EST, before sales open to the general public on Thursday at 10:00am EST.

"Fans looking to access all pre-sale opportunities will need an access code. Nassau County officials will email County residents with pre-sale code information. Those who have already purchased World Cup tickets will receive their pre-sale code via email directly from T20 USA, Inc," an ICC statement read.
