After being dismissed, Warner accidentally climbed the stairs to the wrong dressing room. The incident was captured on video and quickly went viral, with the International Cricket Council (ICC) and T20 World Cup sharing it on their official social media handles.

Warner had played a crucial role in Australia's victory, scoring a match-winning 56 off 51 balls. However, he was visibly unhappy with his dismissal in the death overs of the Australian batting innings. Oman pacer Kaleemullah bowled a short delivery outside off, and Warner attempted to hit it over long-off but failed to connect properly. Shoaib Khan caught the ball in the region, leading to Warner's dismissal.

Disheartened by his exit, Warner walked back to the pavilion with his head down.
